No roll sinker marry the best features of the egg sinker and the flat bank sinker. Its in-line characteristic, like that of an egg sinker, allows the line to move freely when a fish strikes, and with its low profile, it will stay in place in rough currents. Great for river fishing

We use these when surf fishing along the Texas beaches near Galveston. We have caught several spotted trout and other varieties of fish using this weight in a carolina rig set up and live croakers.
Highly recommended!

sinkers are well made with no sharp edges where the fishing line slides.

My favorite pastime is to fish for speckled trout and reds in the gulf coast surf. When there is some roll in the surf (1-2 ft. waves) the flat design tends to keep your bait stationary better than the standard barrel weights. The cylindrical design of barrels tends to move your bait around as these keeps them more stationary.
