Product Description
A larger version of the popular Pony/ Horse Head Jig, the Sea Horse uses the strong hooks you need to land Striped Bass and other large game fish. The bent down portion of the head serves as both an attachment point for the spinner blade and a stabilizing rudder to keep the torque of the rotating blade from turning this jig to its side.

Before using paint the heads with vinyl jig paint and replace the original blade with a#3-5 Indiana or French blade. I have used the 1 and 11/2 sizes for lingcod and Rockfish off the central Oregon coast dressed with grub or swimbait. I paint and replace the blades on the 1/2-1oz sizes and tie them with bucktail they work great snap jigging and/or a straight retrieve for Muskies, Pike and Big walleyes here in Wisconsin

I have been looking for the 1 1/2 oz. horse head jigs for awhile. Easy to find the small horse heads up to about a quarter oz., but not the 1 1/2 oz. I dress them out with buck hair and a 4" sassy shad and the Hybrids and Stripers will eat them up. Just the ticket when trolling for suspended fish in the summer. I will be ordering more.

Straight to tie Bucktail hair to them will put it in a massive Twister on them they jig nice and catch fish Luke best blues even been either easy to work with love them
