Storm sinkers are the thinking man's pyramid, and maybe more. Here's why: look at the length of sinker from eyelet to end compared to a pyramid. This weight shift to the end keeps the sinker from tumbling and gets more distance in surf casting. Ounce for ounce, the triangle top is about twice as large as that of a similar weight pyramid. More holding power per ounce!
